Gallery: National Maritime Museum’s Visions of the Universe exhibition

These stunning pictures are just some of the images on display at the Visions of the Universe exhibition.

The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is hosting the exhibition, which tells the story of astronomical imaging from early hand drawings to the Mars Curiosity rover.

Images on display include a photo of the far side of the Moon and a stunning image of a cluster of galaxies in Virgo.

Visions of the Universe opens on June 7 and runs until September 15, with tickets starting from £2.25 for concessions.
