NASA Astronaut Discusses Life Onboard ISS with Texas Legislator

Aboard the International Space Station, Expedition 35 Flight Engineer Chris Cassidy of NASA discussed life and research on the orbital laboratory with students at the Fredericksburg High School in Fredericksburg, Texas, May 2 during an in-flight educational event attended by Rep. Lamar Smith (R-TX). Smith, who is the Chairman of the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, and former NASA astronaut Eileen Collins joined students to discuss the station’s activities with Cassidy, who arrived at the outpost in late March and who will remain in orbit
